Marti.Andrews@mypcom.comHi, I am Marti Andrews. I have assisted Marsha Cowper in the preschool office for five years. Prior to working in the office I was an assistant teacher in the four year old afternoon class and on the playground.
This is my eighth year at PCOM and I love it. I especially enjoy getting to know the children and watching them grow and change from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. They grow in confidence and social skills – it is such a joy to watch.
I am married and have three grown sons who all have families of their own. I have eight grandchildren – four girls and four boys who range in age from six years to seventeen years old. I love to spend time with them and attend soccer, volleyball, track meets, cheer competitions and baseball games. Each one is special and very different from the other – I really like that. They have their own personalities and interests.
I am active in my church, St. Timothy’s in Laguna Niguel. I am a volunteer catechist for the elementary school religious education program. It is such a wonderful opportunity to sow seeds about the love Jesus has for us all. The children are such a blessing and our hope for a better world in the future.
In my spare time I love to garden. It is such a peaceful place to work and appreciate God’s beautiful creations. I love all flowers but have become especially good at growing roses. I am still working on my skill at growing vegetables.
