I was born in Ohio, grew up in Indiana but have adjusted very well to being a Californian! I have been a member of Presbyterian Church of the Master since 1978 and on staff since 1990.
My husband, Dick, and I have two sons, Eric & Sean, both live in Southern California. Some of my favorite things to do are reading, re- decorating my house (much to my husband’s dismay!) and wandering through flea markets & swap meets in search of vinyl record albums to add to my collection - everything from Johnny Mathis, Elvis to Guns & Roses! (Shocking, I know!)
One of my favorite verses is Jeremiah 29:11 “For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.” In times of uncertainty, this verse gives me great peace knowing that God is always in control.
